Hiya *karate chop*

WELL then. hi.
how have you been?
It looks like we survived the corndog doomsday, so far...

I've been slipping on my movie watching lately. I've been distracted by harry potter, video games. and life in general. By the way Harry Potter was indeed totally awesome, and the half blood prince maybe the one of the best movies out of the movie series.

Next week I leave for SCAD for a week. I'm nervous about going and I just hit my cat with my keyboard.....wow. Spaziness, yay?

The ending is truely near

While you may dismiss this as a crazed maniac's warning, don't say you weren't warned. Corndogs have just become the Earth's number one threat followed by nukes and cows. These beloved and delicious beings of fried batter and process meat have a plot against the human race and our swimming pools. While I was not informed about the details of the master plan, for my corndog disguise did not work as well as I thought; I did find out that these dastardly pigs on a stick are planning to take all the swimming pools off the planet, leaving the chemicals. Those chemicals will be unwittingly thrown down the drain by the swimming pool-less fools running in to our drinking water supply CREATING OUR DOWNFALL.

I urge you to destroy any corndog in any matter you see. Eating the devilish hotdog of hate is the normal procedure and works well. This technique is used by notable world savers like, Hank Green , Dale Boone, Johnny Depp, and so on.

Remember when the corndogs get their cornday it will be our cornDOOM!

Resurrection after Easter.

IT SHALL LIVE!!!!
...
yeah I sort of left this blog for dead for quite a few months and now I'm back. :D

well a few things have happened.
I'm a senior now
I've gotten extremely lazy over the summer ( I have a half finished art project scattered about my room but I haven't been bothered enough to do anything on it.)
???? hmmmmm
happiness and frustration with SCAD ( It's a love/hate/IDC relationship)
Renaissance fair was awesome
I gots a twitter
I'm apparently the most optimistic out of the 3 people I talk online the most.

Random tidbit for you, Monday was the first time I got truly excited about being a senior. It happened because I was looking at the schedule for the next school year and at the bottom of the page it listed the graduations. Lame, yes I know, but oh well .

Oh, and Craft blog is giving me ideas to burn my current project which doesn't seem like a bad idea >:D.

Let's see, we need a picture...

THAR WE GO!

Never ending

I feel like I'm in a rut at school just filled with unneeded busy work .

Anyway let's make this post a happy one. the last few movies I watched; The Little Fugitive ,Barabbas, and King of Kings, were all pretty good. Barabbas was the best movie out of the 3 with a very good storyline and the progression of the storyline. The Little Fugitive was pretty bad when not paying attention to what's going on, it was filmed in a documentary style which was great but the movie was just so boring.

I also watched several other movies this past weekend : No Way Out, The Barefoot Contessa,
The Bridge on the River Kwai, Saboteur, and Easter Parade. All of these movies were AMAZING and you must see them.

From the Barefoot Contessa

maybe after I'm done with my homework I'll do another blog post :P

Light, Light, Boom, Boom

That storm last night was a bit scary, especially when I woke up the lighting lit my whole room .

I made a new list for April for my favorite movie channel in the whole wide world TCM.

What's the matter with Helen - pretty great movie, quite creepy at the end.
The 3 Musketeers - the same one that I missed last month with Gene Kelly, Amazing. but story wise, it wasn't as good as the Man in the Iron Mask with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Billy Liar - a bad 'new age' British movie . could have been really good but just no.
The Little Fugitive - it looked cute on the website :P comes on the 8th at 7:00
Barabbas - my Easter movies
King of Kings - look up ^
Singin' in the Rain - YAYAYAYAY I'm so happy that this is coming :D the 14th at 11pm
Siren of Bagdad
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers - an awesome musical :P
Who's been sleeping in my Bed?
Funny Girl
Carnegie Hall
Birdman of Alcatraz

:D

Yesterday I went to volunteer at the zoo for the famous Zoo Weekend. I was going to get to work at the gift shop in the mann museum, but they moved my mom and me at the last minute >:(.

So, we worked at one of the game ticket booths :(.
Mid-day I started to walk around and I met up with the ed. department and this nationally known animal training group was there and had a few different monkeys, chimps, and a kangaroo ( Amy said that they brought a freakin lion to her school). Anyway the people went walking around the zoo and left the white faced monkey with the ed. department and me :P. The monkey was actually the same monkey that was in Bruce Almighty :). the little butt monkey :P.

The monkey went jumping from everybody's shoulders trying to find something to do, and he saw some girl's ripply hair ribbon and attacked her head, biting her hair and the ribbon and scratching her face. ... it was funny :P.

The oddest thing that happened at the zoo was not the Disney princesses that were posing about but there was some band that was playing and they were actually good IDK who they were though. :(

spring ills

Blah, the week back wasn't all that great :/ I was sick for most of the week with a stomach virus or something IDK what and my hat failed :(

I feel like my art portfolio isn't nearly as big as it should be or really what I want it to be.

So the goals for this weekend will be ....
finishing up that overdue homework and make-up work D:
doing at least one complete art piece
to watch my last 2 movies for the month of March wooooooo
trying to find more direct lines to the art world around my art teacher :/
I also need to get an idea for Flimp like butterflies floating overhead with laser beams or something

I could stand to clean my room I guess it all depends on if we have power tomorrow after and during the storm.

Howling at the moon at 1

I just finished watching Howl's Moving castle and it was a surprisingly good movie. I say surprisingly because the movie started out very oddly, with witches, Labyrinth look-a-like and a horrifically fat lady. the plot was a bit similar to Spirited Away but by far more enjoyable. :D
It was GOOOOoooooddddddd :P. oh and if you don't know any movies by Studio Ghibli,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studio_Ghibli ,there you go. Pick any movie you can't go wrong.

I'm making an adipose :D and no, not by eating delicious cake ;D when it's done you'll see :D.

Ze Frank is funny :D I think I like his show so much b/c that's were the nerdfighters originated from. His our Grandpa :D!!! The crazy senile Grandpa but we love him no less :P
Nerdfighters are not made out of blood and organs; we are made out of AWESOME.

My homework is sitting in the corner.
Silently screaming at me,
endlessly thinking about me.
Now it's on my lap waiting for me to do it
and I'm typing a blog.

DFTBA

Moo

Days after going on a wild thrifty store hunt with ANS I regret not getting those awesome boots even though the inside of the leather boot was all messed up .... but they looked so coooooolllll D:.
I can't even find a picture on Google that could to assist the visualization of the cool boots D:

Spring Break is almost half way over and I still haven't finished my homework.

And I missed some of the movies I wanted to watch due to the rush of exam week :(

Last night I was taking pictures of my clothes that would qualify as 'old' style at least for the upcoming dress up days in school, and to help ANS get an outfit b/c she's all indecisive. :D
and I'm not done yet D:

too many D: need more cows...

:D

oh yes I almost forgot about the elusive cake eater named Twilight:D
Happy St. Patty's day :D

professional artists

Anyway today my dad asked me about my point of view if artists are still needed with the new age of technology where anyone could take a picture. I believe that artists will always be around creating new ideas some way. I think my dad doesn't believe that I should go into an art career but I see no alternative for me. It's literately art or die even if art means just a side support until I can live off of it. // end senseless blabber

Lent's coming up .. you know the reason why there is a Mardi Gras and I don't know what I'm going to give up. I'm thinking about giving up Facebook for 40 day but facebook might be to connected to my schoolwork for that to work.

Apparently I'm a liberal because I like Obama... lol? though he should push the US , as a whole, more into technology.
No I don't believe that Obama is...
a. the messiah
b. the antichrist
c. going to fix the world automatically

Cats is coming to town.. or maybe it's just a small production that will be lame in all counts but I want to seeeeeeeee ittttttttttt.

even thought I have the video :D. meow meow meowwwwwww.

some of the free music on amazon is pretty awesome :P

and Hirst does suck so freakin much :D

love ya.

Blue and gold and blue and gol.....

Last night I came up with a totally cool idea for this old bag I have

Ugly isn't it? Anyway I want to paint over it completely to make it like...

Where it looks like a hollowed out log and 'through' each end you can see a Raccoon or some other woodland creature like a werewolf :P but I like the raccoon. I'm definitely not a bunny person, Tasmanian devils would be hard, thus the raccoon (plus I like the tail :D) .

The other possibility for this bag was candy ....but without the 3-d end of the wrapper it looks bad, and I don't want to do the extra work. I wonder if I can finish before the school year ends...

Yeah... I don't know what to do with this :/.

And for me friend who so KINDLY requested... the mermaid....

Monday, February 16, 2009

The birthday I get out of school and it isn't mine

Last night I had a dream, it was about Avatar with a Mario 64 point of view... we had to get two books of history from the castle. one was a good book and the other was filled with lies. There was this monk guru person who had the answers you just had to ask the right questions just standing in this completely empty 4 walled hut with one wall missing.

Anyway :D I guess I should say what I'm up to. I I I I I I I I

This is my mermaid that I'm working on for a local mini art competition 'green category' . It's made out of matboard and Elmer's white school glue and it's surprisingly sturdy. The arms aren't on yet and the head... well I don't know what I'm going to do with it. I'm trying to figure out what I should use for hair. I'm leaning toward tape yet if I use that it's not really recycling. so maybe plastic of some sort that I don't have. .... Maybe I could get some negatives from my WONDERFUL photography friend to use as hair.....

This CD case I covered with buttons one night in a 'art crazy'. I love it but the problem is that I don't know what to use it for, you know besides CDs. I once tried to use it as a wallet... it didn't work out that well.....

I'm also thinking about make a list of the rules that I live by...

look 6666

things you should check out.....

The Coraline soundtrack is Amazing!!! If you liked the Nightmare before Christmas soundtrack this is perfect for you.

Yulia Brodskaya

Her illustrative quilled paper designs are amazing.

and ya know Queen..... but that's obvious :D

Let's get started

Yes according to ans, aka Agent Sushi, I have jumped onto to the ever changing wagon of blogging. I'll probably post anything that I feel like regardless of what it might be perceived as. I would love for this to become an inspiring blog promoting amazing things.... and that's what it's going to be; right after I figure out how to edit this thing.

A few websites you need to spend hours on:
http://blog.craftzine.com/ (love site)
http://ffffound.com/ (brother of the love site)

Yup.....

I'm not sure what to say. Besides that my foot's asleep .
